OTR's Annual Wheelchair Wash took place on May 15, 2022 from 9am-12pm for the residents at our Hill Arboretum property. This is a wonderful event where residents can come and get their wheelchairs and walkers cleaned by volunteer community members. The residents also receive free manicures and free pizza while they wait.
A thorough cleaning like this is so nice for our residents who use their wheelchairs in all of the outdoor elements, and spend so much time in their wheelchairs including meals. It makes such a difference having a fresh clean wheelchair.
We want to give a special thank you to Patrick Hughes and his volunteers who hosted and lead this special event. We are so thankful for our community coming together to make a positive impact on our residents and their quality of life.
