OU vs UTEP

The UTEP Miners from C-USA have a stout offensive line that runs the ball. Junior QB Gavin Hardison is inconsistent at best - throwing 18 TDs, but having 13 interceptions. This season he will look downfield for Tyrin Smith for the deep ball.

The Sooners are heavy favorites, but UTEP isn't getting enough credit as a team. Oklahoma has played in several home-openers that were considerably more lopsided.

We are SO EXCITED to be at the Frisco Bar this season! The owners are lovely. The staff is amazing! The food is excellent! And the location can't be beat! We can't wait for y'all to check this place out!

We're Looking for Leaders!

We are looking for outstanding Sooners who want to step up and take a leadership role in the OU Club.

Bret, Jamie, Jeff, Blake, and I have made the really tough decision to step down after this season. It has been an amazingly satisfying 16 seasons leading this club, but it's time for the next group of awesome Sooners to take over. With your help, we have grown this club from giving out just two $500 scholarships to one that has given out more than $100,000 to local students going to OU! (That's SO AMAZING!)

So, we're asking for your help. If you're interested in a leadership role, please email us. We are looking for a president (or co-presidents), scholarship chair(s), and communications person(s).

We want to make sure that you are set up for success, so we're asking now. When you volunteer, you will have an entire season of mentoring and training, so you won't have to start over when we hand you the keys. What a deal!

But let me level with you. If no one steps up to fill these roles, the OU Club of Collin County as we know it will end - and no one wants that. Please let us know if you are interested or have any questions.
