Career Center Hosts Spring 2024 All-Majors Career Fair | The Georgia Tech Career Center welcomed 147 employers to campus for the All-Majors Career Fair on January 22, and 23, 2024. Over two days, there were more than 3,500 students who had the opportunity to learn about co-op, internship, and full-time career opportunities. The employers in attendance represented various industries, including automotive, aerospace, nonprofit, biomedical engineering, federal, entertainment, IT, and more. | |

Undergraduate Admission Delivers Over 31,800 Decisions to Early Action 2 Applicants |
On Friday, January 26, more than 31,800 students who applied to Georgia Tech in Early Action 2 received their admission decision. The overall admission rate for Early Action 2, which encompasses both international and U.S. students residing outside of the state of Georgia, stood at 9%. The 3,000 students admitted in this round represent all 50 states, 78 countries, and 1,800 high schools globally.

Transformative Teaching and Learning Faculty Initiatives Pilot Program | The 15 faculty engaged in the pilot round of the Transformative Teaching and Learning (TTL) initiative worked to carry out the Institute Strategic Plan call to "Amplify Impact". Led by CTL’s Dr. Kate Williams, the Interim Director of Transformative Teaching and Learning, these faculty revised 11 courses across the Institute to integrate experiential learning into mostly traditional course structures. | |

Honors Program Graduate Brings Innovation to Campus Dining Options | Honors Program student Kiandra Peart, a Brooklyn, NY native who graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in December 2023, looked around campus and saw a problem: 24/7 access to healthy food for college students. Where Are They Now? 2023 InVenture Prize Winners on the Past Year | In March 2023, Jeff Mao and Tyler Ma won first place in the Georgia Tech InVenture Prize with their web-based platform SellRaze, a solution to simplify the online resale listing process. Vicki Birchfield Rises to the Rank of Officer of France's National Order of Merit
Dr. Vicki Birchfield, a professor in Georgia Tech’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, received one of France’s highest civilian honors for her continued dedication to furthering Franco-American relations. Birchfield rose to the rank of Officer of France's National Order of Merit thirteen years after being honored as “Chevalier,” or Knight of the National Order of Merit.
