C2D2 Reorganization Includes New Name
The Center for Career Discovery and Development, known more commonly as C2D2, has a new name to go along with other significant changes, effective July 1.
After conversations with the Vice Provost following July's town hall, several colleagues in OUE have expressed interested in starting an equity collective to create change within our own units and in how we serve our students and constituents. This alternative to a committee is a non-hierarchical structure with rotating roles, and shared responsibility; collectives operate through a different relationship to power, and different understanding of power and equity, than do the top-down arrangements of typical committees, and are potentially better vehicles to address power, racism, and justice in our own contexts.

To become involved with the OUE Equity Collective, please contact any one of the group by July 22! ( Susan, Justin, Dr. Chaviano, Lauren, Nicole, Dr. Girardot, Dr. Potts, Stephanie, Christina, Dr. Walker, Ruthie).
