One of the most important components of natural healing, I feel, is daily meditation.
It connects us to our inner selves which some call intuition, others spirit. And from this Center and balance we are able to calmly start and end our day with peace and equanimity.
Meditation practice calms the mind. Most beginners remark on how active their mind is when they first become still. Well think about the idea that the mind is this active in the background at all the times, and for most of us even in sleep! And most often we feel we have no control over it or our thoughts.
Meditation tames the mind. From the still mind, we can then direct all that newfound energy for healing naturally. We may CONSCIOUSLY direct our thoughts to positivity, and to creating and manifesting our best selves, and our best lives.
We practice together, each Tuesday evening, inspiring each other to continue on this daily task until we meet next.
Bring a mat, a blanket or anything else you need to be comfortable in a sitting position on the floor. Chairs are also available.
All levels are welcome from first time beginners to advanced.
