In the fall of 2017, Napoleon Products had a choice to make.
They could solve their office space problems in Kentucky by replacing an existing drywall building they'd outgrown  with another conventional buildout, but that would require a permanent foundation and lots of building permits.
Or they could go with a Starrco pre-engineered modular building. As a modular structure, it needed no foundation, fewer permits and it could be built in days rather than weeks. They chose Starrco.

As part of the first phase, they decided to invest in a load-bearing roof deck to be used for heavy-duty storage until later this summer when they will add a second level for more office space. In addition, plans are being discussed to add a Starrco building at their manufacturing and distribution center.

Everyone who watched phase one of the project go from loading dock to finished building was impressed with the speed of install and the quality of the finished product.
Building Program
Napoleon Products decided to build in two phases.
Phase 1: The ground floor, which is 56 by 16 feet, has a large conference room and an open plan area for their shipping office staff.
Phase 2: They plan to add a second floor within 2-3 months. It will have offices and a training room where employees can do forklift and safety classes.
Fast Installation
As soon as the construction drawings were signed off, the manufacturing began. Every part was cut to size and packed for shipping. Within weeks, the materials arrived at Napoleon Products' dock, ready for Rick Ellis and his installation crew to start work.

Fixtures & Features
The company decided to order Starrco's standard ADA lever door hardware and light fixtures to keep costs down. But, with Starrco, standard does not mean compromising quality.

Celebrating John Gilmore's Retirement
John Gilmore, Starrco's Executive Vice President, retired in June after 30 years with the company, so we officially named his last day "John Gilmore Day."
The whole company came together for lunch, laughs and to wish one of Starrco's longest-tenured employees a happy retirement.
In honor of his longtime dedication and commitment to the business, as well as his unique abilities and capabilities, we named the hall outside his office "The John Gilmore Way."
We presented John with a copy of the sign that he can hang on the wall of his new home in North Carolina.
