Spokane Gives

The Spokane Gives initiative is a great way to give back to our community through volunteerism during the month of April.

Since beginning in 2014, 34,000 volunteers have provided a value of $4 Million in volunteer impact.

It's easy to get involved. Look to Volunteer Spokane to find the right volunteer opportunity for you, your family or a company team.

Mini-Grants for Local Nonprofits

Volunteer projects frequently require costly materials that can be prohibitive.

Spokane Gives provides a mini-grant fund to help cover material costs for projects. These mini-grant dollars are generously donated by corporate and community partners.

Project expenses, up to $500, may qualify and be covered.

This grant opportunity is open to any non-profit organization registered on Volunteer Spokane.

Mini-Grants Available to Youth for Volunteer Project Costs

We offer Youth United Mini-Grants to encourage youth involvement in Spokane Gives. These grants of up to $300 help youth implement a volunteer project to benefit their nonprofit organization of choice.

This grant opportunity is open to all youth.

Hoops and Hops and More

When the Emerging Leaders gather together, big things happen! Annually, the Emerging Leaders Society hosts a number of events centered on networking, volunteerism, professional development or some combination of the three!

Tuesday, March 20th is Hoops and Hops. You can join the Emerging Leaders Society and Spokane Young Professionals at Hoopfest's new offices to hear from Hoopfest Executive Director, Matt Santangelo.
