Volpatt Construction Presents
The Future of Building Webinar Series
Twice monthly sessions highlight entrepreneurs, innovators, and the technologies that are helping to reshape construction while also offering architects CEUs for participation

BamCore will be the first in the series and showcase its sustainable
Prime Wall™ bamboo framing system
Volpatt Construction announced a new webinar series titled “The Future of Building”. Twice monthly, the series will highlight the entrepreneurs, innovators, and technologies that are helping to reshape construction and transform building management. The webinars are open to the entire construction community including architects, general contractors, sub contractors, trades, and students. Each session offers 1 AIA CEU for architects.

The webinars will be held on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 12 PM ET. The first will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd at 12 PM ET. Register for the first event here: https://bit.ly/3DU9zdH

Each event offers a presentation and Q&A session lasting for about an hour. Participating architects will earn one hour of CE credits for every event they register for and attend.

“We’re excited to curate and present our peers in construction with some of the most unique technologies and ideas that are changing the way we construct and manage buildings,” said Michael Volpatt, VP of Marketing, People, and Innovation for Volpatt Construction. “From sustainable building materials and more efficient framing technology to AI, machine learning, and digital twins, The Future of Building will open everyone’s eyes to how our industry is changing.”

The first to present in the series is BamCore (CEU = 1 LU/HSW). BamCore utilizes timber bamboo, industrialized construction techniques, and disruptive technology to engineer high-performance building materials to mitigate the impacts of climate change and the housing crisis. Nich Allan, PE, Director, Product Development & QC of BamCore, will discuss the BamCore Prime Wall™, a beyond-zero carbon footprint framing system for commercial and residential low-rise construction. We will also touch on BamCore’s journey to developing the first sustainable global timber bamboo supply chain and innovating fiber-optimizing technologies so that developers can build in half the time with half the crew.

“It is exciting to collaborate with fellow pioneers in this new age of construction,” said Nich. “In this critical decade, our building materials choices will make a huge global impact on our future.”

Future presenters in the series include:

  • March 8 — James Mauler, CEO and Founder of Cadnetics. Serving architects, engineers, builders, and construction companies, Cadnetics is at the forefront of the technological revolution in design.
