We had another fabulous wine dinner this past Saturday at The Grounds of Livev, featuring the wines of Stags’ Leap Winery. Everyone enjoyed amazing wines paired with great food created by our Culinary Team.
If you missed out on the Stags’ Leap Winery dinner, not to worry, we have our next wine dinner scheduled for Saturday, November 21st at 6:00 pm -- “A Night of Burgundy” with Nial Leech of Salveto Imports. We will dig into the beauty of this region and pair the wines with amazing foods created by our culinary team. Seating is limited and you can sign up here.
Our featured wines this week are a mix of favorites from the past and present – Stags’ Leap Petit Sirah is a big and rich wine perfect with grilled meats or Dark Chocolate Mousse. How about a Cabernet which is 10 plus years old – Petrified Forest Cabernet, a classic Knight’s Valley Cabernet which has aged to perfection. The newest vintage of Long Meadow Ranch Cabernet is fabulous and can be consumed now or aged for the next ten to 15 years. Finally, the Ficaria Vins La Familia 2016 just hit 10 years old and is just beginning to get into its peak drinking window. Check out the special mixed four pack for even more savings.
