Oak Hills Newsletter Week #33
A Message From The Oak Hills President
Dear Oak Hills Families,

Thank you so much for coming out to support our Oak Hills Spring-A-Ding.  We hope you enjoyed getting to see and experience first hand the exciting and enriching music, art and technology programs that YOU provide for our kids.  We also hope your children had fun enjoying all of the evenings activities with their Oak Hills friends and family. I want to offer a heartfelt thank you to all of the parents and teachers that helped us by volunteering at the event and during the countless hours of work preparing for it.  I would especially like to thank the three co-chairs, Katina Snyder, Angela Giraldo, and Kristen Johnson.  They had such an innovative vision for what this event would be and they brought it to life beautifully.  They had a fantastic committee behind them as well.  Thank you to, Adora Chu, Blanca Elazary, Pariva Modaberpour, Holly Exler, Lauren Ferguson, Darcy Gilbert, Brenna Gutell, Vivian Tam and Ashlei Vargas.  I would also like to thank Mr. Waldman, Mrs. Trowbridge and Ms. Katzner for their help in showcasing the fantastic curriculum they provide to our kids.  I am continuously humbled by the amazing generousity and support so freely given to our school by the amazing families that form our Oak Hills community.  It is because of you that all of these great programs exist for our children, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Warmly,
Brianna Adams
Oak Hills PTA President

We invite you to participate in this wonderful opportunity by purchasing a commemorative brick inscribed with a sentiment or your name, a family member or someone you would like to honor. Your brick will be added to the walkway outside the Oak Park High School Performing Arts Theater Building. Your brick will be a lasting tribute and a symbol of support for generations to come!

A message from Mrs. Meredith

Happy Spring!

There are some students coming back to school before they are ready. This is unfair to both the student as well as all the students and teachers they are around.
The student will be sent home if they do not follow these very important rules:
  1. 1.   If your child has a fever of 99.6 or more they must stay home. They may return only if they are fever free- without the help of medication- for 24 hours.
  2. 2.   If your child has thrown up - they must stay home at least 24 hours after the last time they threw up.
  3. 3.   If your child has an illness that requires antibiotics-(ear infection, bronchitis, sinusitis, pink eye, etc.) they must stay home at least 24 hours after the first dose.

VERY IMPORTANT!!
All students are REQUIRED by California law to be up to date with immunizations or they may NOT be in school.
I need a copy of ALL immunizations given throughout the year.
I don't need flu shot records.

If your child has new medical illness or diagnosis over the school year, please keep me informed.

****A SPECIAL HEALTH TECH REQUEST****
The health office is in need of gently-used shorts, leggings, or pants for our students. Please bring in any clothes that your child has outgrown.

Please feel free to visit me at the health office, or call me at 818-707-4224. I'm always happy to answer any questions.

Stay healthy and don't forget to wash your hands!
