This May, Alumna Laura Cermak (’15) graduated as Valedictorian of Christendom College's Class of 2019. In her Valedictory Address, she discussed the beauty of a liberal arts education.

An Alum's Journey to Lourdes
Lia Ridout '85
Each year, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims seek physical and spiritual healing at Lourdes, France, t he site of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparitions to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858 . This spring, Oakcrest alumna Lia Ridout (‘85) joined that number as she went on the Order of Malta’s annual Lourdes pilgrimage.

Goodbye and thank you to Michele Casey Bueno '99 for her two years of dedicated service as the President of the Oakcrest Alumnae Association (OAA). We welcome Maritere Gramatges Crum '91 to the role of President of the OAA and Kathleen Ouyang '09 as Alumnae Relations Coordinator.

Visiting our British Friends!
Oakies teaching American history at  The Laurels School ! Oakies stayed with host families, took (and taught) classes, and visited some of London's most famous sites. 
West Wing Expansion
The second floor of the west wing will be built out to include additional classrooms, teaming rooms, teacher offices and restrooms to accommodate our school growth. Construction began in May and will be completed by August 2019.  Come by to see our growth! To learn more about this exciting project, please email advancement@oakcrest.org.
