Dear Oakies,
Thank you to all the alumnae who have been keeping in touch, updating your contact information, letting us know your exciting news and attending (virtual) events. We love to hear from you!
A big shout out goes to the 11 alumnae and 28 alumnae parents that attended the Upper School Show Antigone, as well as an extra thank you to our Alumnae Patron of The Arts Sponsor, Tara (Hill) van Zoeren ’11. I know the current Oakies are especially grateful for all of your generosity. Thank you Oakies!

Young Alumnae Trivia Night Recap
|
Alumnae from the Classes of 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2018 participated in the OAA's first ever Virtual Trivia Night. Four teams tested their general trivia knowledge to win prizes. The competition was fierce, and the 2016 Team "Fwends" came out on top in the final round. We hope you all join us the next time!

Sports were an important part of alumna Clare Polis’ (‘17) Oakcrest experience, so when she got the opportunity to give back to younger Oakies through coaching, Clare took it. This spring will be her third year serving as a Track & Field coach for the Chargers. Click here to read Clare's full profile.

Oakcrest Athletics - Go Chargers!
|
|
Older Alumnae may remember Oakcrest Athletics as consisting of only 4 sports teams (Soccer, Basketball, Softball and Tennis), with teams mixed with players from all grades. Today, we still have our 4 original sports, but over the years we’ve added Volleyball, Cross Country, Track and Field, Lacrosse, Swimming, and Golf with JV, Varsity and Middle School teams. The Athletic program has grown in part due to the driving force of students who were, not only high-level athletes but, enthusiastic spirits that helped generate interest in starting new programs. These same Oakies went on to compete in college in their sports.
Here are a few of the “driving forces” we can thank for helping get these teams started:
Swimming: Sarah Kenis ‘10, Elizabeth (Kenis) Birmingham ’09,
Kellie Chang ‘07 and Caroline Heeter '97
Volleyball: Tori (Jensen) King ‘10
Lacrosse: Etta Davis ‘17
