Dear Oakies,
March brings with it some exciting news! I am happy to announce that we will be conducting our first annual Alumnae Week next month. This year’s events will take place the week of April 24-May 1 and will be a combination of in-person and virtual events. Space is limited for the in-person events. Please see below for all of the details and sign-up opportunities.

Additionally, the Oakcrest fields have new scoreboards and they look amazing! Join us this spring for our home games and see them in action.

ALUMNAE SPOTLIGHT
Each month we do a special feature story on one of our alumnae. Check out our past alumnae stories here.
While attending a summer program for high school students at the University of Dallas, Sarah (Hunt) Arkell met an Oakcrest student, who inspired her to learn more about the school. Although they lived in Texas at the time, Sarah and her father soon visited Oakcrest, and Sarah enrolled for the following year as an eleventh grader so that she could spend her final two years of high school there.

OAKCREST "THEN AND NOW"
STEM!
Do you remember science classes at Yuma? Or the lab at our McLean campus? We're grateful for teachers such as Dr. Deeb and Ms. Savino, who showed us how fun math and science could be! We've come a long way from the simple science rooms at Yuma and McLean—today, our permanent campus has two spacious, state-of-the-art labs.
