September 27, 2025

Dear Oakies,

It was such a joy to spend time with alumnae of all ages and their families during our Homecoming 2025 celebrations! It was beautiful to see so many of you process in before the Founder's Day Mass and place roses at the foot of Our Lady of Oakcrest, reminiscent of our graduation day. The weather was extraordinary for September, and we all enjoyed such a spectacular evening for our annual Founder's Day BBQ, followed by a fabulous time in the lobby of the McGowan Family Athletic Center for our Alumnae Cocktail Party and Reunions. The bubble wands and the Oakie Mocktail were a huge hit with the kids, while the adults enjoyed both the Oakie Mocktail and Cocktail, caught up with fellow classmates, took pictures with the Oakies Forever backdrop, and had their husbands, boyfriends and children looking through yearbooks, posters and the picture slideshow to find their beloved Oakie. I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick-off the new school year!

I look forward to seeing you for Trunk-or-Treat at the end of October and an alumnae coffee in November (more details can be found below). If you haven't gotten your copy of the 2025 Alumnae Cookbook, be sure to reserve your copy before they are all gone!

Warm regards,

Maritere (Gramatges '91) Crum

OAKIES In Action

Anna Diederich Field Update

Thank you to all who have supported our campaign to acquire the land adjacent Oakcrest's campus! The response from the community has been incredibly supportive and generous and we are so grateful for every gift, great or small, that makes this opportunity possible.

Request for Prayers

Gloria (Falcao '84) Dodd has requested a special prayer intention from the Oakcrest community. She wrote: "We are asking for my husband's healing through the intercession of Servant of God Frank Duff preferably by a miracle but if not, through whatever treatment would be most appropriate." Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Homecoming 2025 was a huge success! Celebrating with all of you was so much fun!

Congratulations to Madeleine (Lucas '15) Gee the lucky recipient of the Alumna Yeti Cooler!
