Oakville Conserves Energy Fair on Saturday, May 26
Join us at the annual Oakville Conserves Energy Fair this Saturday , May 26 at Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
The free event, sponsored by Oakville Hydro, showcases the latest in energy efficiency products and services from numerous exhibitors. You can test drive an electric vehicle, take a virtual tour of a local energy efficient house, learn about energy incentives for your home and business, and test your knowledge for giveaways and door prizes.
While you're there, stop by the Halton Environmental Network's Shop, Swap and Save event in the Town Hall parking lot. Get one-of-a-kind items from a variety of local artists, purchase recycled and repurposed items, swap your children's clothes and bring your bicycle for a free spring tune-up!

Aerial spraying begins May 25

The town's first gypsy moth and cankerworm aerial spray of select town woodlands will take place Friday morning between 5 to 8 a.m. Since the aerial spray is dependent on favourable weather conditions, the dates of the spray may change. In the event of a date change or cancellation, notification will be posted on the town's Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Celebrate Bike Month to win!  
Join thousands of people on Monday, May 28 for the annual Bike to Work kick-off event happening across the GTA. Show your support for cycling and you'll be entered to win a $500 MEC gift card or $500 voucher from VIA Rail!  Look for a Bike Month event at one of our community centres. Show you have biked to these events to receive incentives, cycling handbooks and many more cycling accessories!
Council business at Town Hall 

The next Council meeting takes place Monday, May 28 at 7 p.m. Join us at the meeting for the latest Council updates including recommendations from the Administrative Services Committee and Community Services Committee meetings on Monday, May 22.
