Oasis Passes on Sale February 1!
Season passes for The Oasis Water Park go on sale February 1 online and in person at the Museum, 108 S. Bloomingdale Road in Bloomingdale.

In addition, there are two season pass kick-off events where participants can save $5 per pass and receive an Oasis T-shirt!

Passholders enjoy a bevy of benefits including:

  • Early daily admission

  • Discounted private rentals and parties

  • Option to purchase a VIP pass

  • Passholder Appreciation Night

  • Two one-day guest passes per family

Royal Princess Ball to be held February 8
Spend an enchanted evening with your little loved one and make her princess dreams a reality at the Royal Princess Ball. Couples experience a memorable evening dancing to the music of the noble DJ as well as a dinner for royalty. Every princess and her escort has the opportunity to take an elegant horse-drawn carriage ride to complete the festive evening. Every couple receives a photo to cherish for years to come.

Reservations are required. Fee of $59/$64 (R/NR) is per couple. Additional princesses are welcome at $29 apiece. Registration deadline is Friday, February 1. No drop-ins are allowed. Reservations accepted after February 1 for any open space incur a $25 additional fee.

Super Hero Bowling to be held March 8
Spend an action-packed evening with your son and bowl the night away at Brunswick Bowling Alley in Roselle! Come dressed as your favorite super hero and participate in fun contests and raffles throughout the night. Pizza, dessert and soft drinks are provided. Each couple receives a photo to take home.

Reservations are required. Fee of $59/$64 (R/NR) is per couple. Additional super heroes are welcome at $29 each. Registration deadline is March 4. No drop-ins are allowed. Any registrations accepted after March 4 for any open spaces incur an additional $25 fee.

Fullerton Presented with IAPD Honored Professional Award

Bloomingdale Park District Executive Director Carrie Fullerton was presented with the Illinois Association of Park Districts' Honored Professional Award at the 2019 IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference held January 23-26 at the Chicago Hyatt Regency.

Purely Active Adult Recreation Club

The Purely Active Adult Recreation Club (PAARC) offers a variety of entertaining activities for those 55+. The club meets every Friday, 10 a.m. to noon, at the Bloomingdale Fire Department. PAARC dates for February are 1, 8, 15 & 22.

School's Out Activities for February 

School's Out! provides endless opportunities for first through sixth graders on days off of school. Each day offers a variety of structured yet relaxed activities for your child to enjoy including games, sports, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor playtime, cooking, trips, special events and a whole lot more.  Dates this month are February 18 & 20.

Johnston Recreation Center Renovation

The Bloomingdale Park District continues to actively plan the capital projects identified by the community as needing repair and/or improvement based upon the successful referendum in November 2016. Renovating the Johnston Recreation Center to include committed space for active older adult programming, improved early childhood/preschool space, and enhanced security throughout began May 2018 with a targeted completion date of Summer 2019.
