Godspeed, Sally
It is with such a heavy heart that we must write of the death Sally S. Wright. Nobody was ever a more staunch supporter of Magna cum Murder. She was such a huge presence in the "landscape" of our festival since its very beginning that it's hard to imagine arriving at the Columbia Club in October and not seeing her there; but as I say every year at the Saturday night banquet, "When I look out at the people gathered here, I see the ones who aren't here just as clearly as I see all of you in this audience." That will be more true this year than ever as we all "see," or at least feel, Sally softly holding us in her lovely, warm spirit.

May light perpetual shine upon our dearest Sally.
