Approved minutes from the council meeting on 09-04-24.

The Council Approved Bimonthly Expense Report $158,437.31. Ayes Hollenbeck, Kaminski, Small, Buckingham. Nays Scheib.
Besides normal monthly bills the largest expense was to Atlas Bobcat for a trailer. Gasvoda & Assoc. Maintenance parts and supplies for wastewater treatment plant $8,527.28. Marseilles Public Library – Real Estate Tax Disbursement $31,224.63.
The Council Approved the Biweekly Salary Payroll $100,817.41. Ayes Hollenbeck, Kaminski, Small, Buckingham, Scheib.
Resolution to rescind the City Social Media Policy. Ayes Scheib, Buckingham, Nayes Small, Hollenbeck, Kaminski.
Commissioner Scheib mentioned he met with the engineer & contractor at the Ryall Street project to work out some minor issues with the residents.
Commissioner Small reminded everyone to please keep their vehicles and houses locked. There have been a couple of issues with vehicles being entered.
Commissioner Small stated that Trick or Treat will be on October 31st, from 5-7 PM. There will also be a Trunk or Treat on October 27th time and location to be announced.
Commissioner Buckingham stated that Annual City Clean Up Days will be October 17, 18 and 19.
Residents were reminded political signs have to be on private property and not displayed on public property or right of way.
A Special Events Permit was approved for Midwest OCR (obstacle course race) for September 28 2024 at Cliffs Insane Terrain. Information is available here:
