Ring in the Spring!
Dear friends and fellows,
Greetings! My name is Erin F. and I am a compulsive overeater and food addict. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community as the new newsletter editor. I
am eager to take on this role and will do my best to fill the very big shoes that Leslie has left for me to fill.
I want to start off by thanking Leslie for her wonderful service over these last two years. In this digital age, these newsletters serve such an important role in keeping us all connected to program, whether by informing us of the various activities and events going on in our region, or sharing the words of wisdom from the many OA resources floating in the ethos.
Thank you, Leslie, for your service! I gratefully accept your passing of the baton and look forward to serving you all!
SPRING IS IN THE AIR! Can you feel it? The days are getting longer, the sun is shining a bit brighter (even amidst this seemingly endless rain), the flowers and trees are budding and bearing their colors proudly, the birds are making their presence known and, most importantly, the temperature is rising ever-so-slightly!
The turning of the seasons is always a contemplative time for me. I often reflect on the season that is ending and decide what is worth leaving behind and what is important to take with me into the new season.
This season, I have an added "attitude of gratitude" for the beauty around me.
I hope you find the same peace and serenity each time you notice these signs of spring!
Wishing you peace, serenity & sunshine,
