President's Corner
Fall. We say goodbye to our warm beach days, humid bad hair days, traffic, and working around the clock. We greet slower days, sweaters, boots, and a chance to catch our breath.

Sadly, we still aren't out of the COVID woods and we must remain vigilant. Governor Hogan announced new assistance programs last week. Please make sure you look at them to see if they are something you may take advantage of. Read more here.

As we head into the holiday season, make sure we all patronize our small local businesses, they need us and without them, we all suffer. Use your media outlets to share this importance. Ask followers to leave good reviews, give shout outs for great service and products, and highlight deals and offerings. They say it takes a village, we are calling on our village now!

Stay well, stay informed and stay Delmarva Strong.
Why are there logos and ads in the newsletter?

The first week of each month (if I'm on the ball), over 800 businesses, media outlets, community leaders and residents receive this newsletter. Now that we are in an electronic format, we will be sharing it on social media as well, adding to the number of eyes. Do you want those eyes to see your logo or ad?

Lady Golfers Tee Up for 2021

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association Eastern Shore Chapter is one of 118 chapters in the National LPGA Amateurs Organization. We provide welcoming and friendly golf and social events for women of all ages and levels of play. We offer a variety of leagues including “New Golfers” and “Refresher Golfers” within the MD/DE Eastern Shore area. Member benefits include opportunities for golf education, instruction, clinics, social networking events, discounts on apparel, equipment, greens fees and more.

We have a website with an informative video that says it all. Our organization is 100% reliant on our volunteers. If interested, you may even want to volunteer. Our website provides details about our leagues and any other information you may need. https://chapters.lpgaamateurs.com/chapter/EASH

We are looking forward to expanding our events in the coming year as 2020 has been a challenging year due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to engage in an outdoor sport.

For information on membership please contact Sherry Rogers at sherryrogers79@gmail.com

A Match Made in Heaven

As corny as this title is, especially as it relates to us, there is really no other way to describe it. As the owner of Seafloor Carpet, (Don Robertson), the unofficial partnership with Pipeline Contracting (Ted Rhoads) is a perfect fit. And this union benefits you the customer, in so many ways.

What started as a chance meeting about 8 years ago, our friendship began. After hiring Pipeline to do some work at my personal home, I found he holds some of the same moral, and detail to workmanship, that I try to uphold at Seafloor Carpet. Their workmanship is precise and downright nit-picky. It's the quality of work ethic that everyone looks for and seldom finds.

So together we have opened up our new showroom in the Manklin Creek Station, in the South Gate of Ocean Pines. We have 4,000 square feet of showroom, featuring all the latest styles of flooring. Seafloor is a Hallmark Premier hardwood dealer, followed by 7 different carpet companies, highlighted by our new Karastan Custom Area Rug Kiosk. We also stock several styles of the new Waterproof Vinyl's from over 10 manufacturers.

On the other side, Pipeline Contracting exclusively features Bertch Cabinetry, a made in the USA company who customizes each job. They do not have "stock" cabinets, but each kitchen or bathroom is designed and built, specifically for you. Top that with a custom quartz or granite top and you have your own, personal masterpiece.

Couple all this with over 50 years combined experience makes Seafloor Carpet Hardwood and More AND Pipeline Contracting the smartest choice for you. So please stop in and introduce yourself to us. We are here to do our very best for you.
Join us on Wednesday November 11 at Seafloor and Pipelines new building in Manklin Meadows for an Open House followed by a series of ribbon cuttings!
