President's Corner
As much as I love summer, early Fall weather is always a welcome change. The crisp air means harvest time, sweaters, back to school (kinda), and a tourism switch in our community. We slow down, we start to recover, we look back on the craziest year we've ever seen.

As you come out of that "what the heck just happened fog", realize that you made it! You rose to the occasion and survived. Some of your modifications will stick, some you can't wait to toss out. Either way, you knew you had to bend with that storm or break off. YOU deserve a huge pat on the back. We are proud to serve such a resilient community of true leaders.

That refreshing air also brings with it a loss of outdoor business space. Even though its joined by the potential to go to 75% capacity, some may still face struggles with logistics. As always, we are here for you! Please rely on our resources and marketing tools. How can we assist you?

Grab your comfy hoodie and slide into our shoulder season knowing YOU ROCK!
Why are there logos and ads in the newsletter?

The first week of each month (if I'm on the ball), over 800 businesses, media outlets, community leaders and residents receive this newsletter. Now that we are in an electronic format, we will be sharing it on social media as well, adding to the number of eyes. Do you want those eyes to see your logo or ad?

Apple Discount Drug Continues to Provide Health Care to Our Area

With the recent closing of the Apple Discount Drugs Berlin pharmacy location, the Apple team wants to ensure customers that they can still rely on Apple to meet their healthcare needs.

Apple will continue to deliver DME to all regular service areas. If customers need to place an order for medical equipment, they can call the Fruitland store at 410/749-8401. The Apple Infusion service area will remain the same for all customers and referrals. If an individual needs to speak with someone in the Infusion department they can call 410-860-1669 for assistance. All compounding prescriptions can be picked up at the Fruitland, Salisbury, or Snow Hill locations.

Apple wants to thank all customers for their years of undoubted support!
For years, our neighboring Chambers have trusted and offered CQI's services to their members. We are proud to announce that your OP Chamber has now partnered with CQI. As an energy co-op, they can offer energy at reduced rates to home and office based businesses.

You Know You've Wondered...

If one asks what makes Delmarva Health thru CBD (DHtCBD) different. Nathan Gears, the founder/owner describes it this way.”DHtCBD is a local family business which my wife Dawn and I operate. Building this business is a passion. A passion for helping our community find their way to a healthier lifestyle through CBD which is what we call a “Wayward Lifestyle”. Wayward is described as doing your own thing and going against the norm. Our norm is CBD, we have Associated ourselves with the CBD Industry Association and have become Certified CBD Consultants.” In December they will be obtaining even more certifications, from listening to the needs of our community. Education is their foundation and they enjoy sharing their passion about cannabinoids and the Endocannabinoid System.

Delmarva Health thru CBD has recently had a lot to celebrate. In July they moved from a 77 square foot space to a 1000 square foot space in the Healing Arts Center of the Eastern Shore. This space has a retail area shipping and receiving area and offices with a conference center! They can not wait to hold their first education series. In July they also celebrated their one year anniversary in business.

Plus talk about exciting news, they recently came out with their own line of products. An amazing topical Wayward Gear Muscle and Joint which has 1000mg nano infused CBD and that also contains other anti-inflammatory agents,(terpenes), with a mild minty scent. Their 2nd product is Wayward Gear full spectrum flower for the people who enjoy smoking. It is a Merlot CBD Flower, which is a cross between Sweet Berry Wine and Berry Blossom. You can find it only at Delmarva Health thru CBD at this time.

Delmarva Health thru CBD has a wealth of knowledge and encourages everyone to reach out and ask questions. Dawn Gears states “There is so much misconception over hemp, we are here to educate and help with what ails you.” Their clientele come from many walks of life and many ailments. Whether it is pain, sleeplessness, anxiety and countless other symptoms they can help.

The new store is amazing! Located at 617 Franklin Ave Room #1 Berlin MD, featuring hand selected quality vendors from the USA and products made with USA grown hemp. At this time it has 20 vendors and over 150 different products. This is not another CBD store or vape shop, They have no display cases and the vibe is very relaxing. No matter who you are and what age group you are in, you will feel at ease. Nathan and Dawn can also be found every Friday at the Windmill Creek Winery Farmers Market. If you have no time they can go on line at dhtcbd.com. There are also rumors of even more exciting changes in their future so stay tuned! Facebook Page

BCV Commercial Realty LLC (BCV) is a licensed and insured full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in all facets of sales, leasing, tenant representation, land development as well as marketing of land, retail pad sites and commercial properties throughout Maryland. BCV was formed in January 2013 and began operating in conjunction with another company, Business and Commercial Ventures Inc. (B&CV), which was formed in 1976 by Jerry Blumenthal. B&CV operated as a business brokerage company that assisted owners of small businesses with finding suitable buyers when they either wanted to retire, change locations, or just liquidate. In 2017, BCV purchased B&CV and has incorporated all the services under one identity.

BCV continues to operate as a full service commercial real estate firm and offers expertise in business brokerage, connecting buyers and sellers in all aspects of business. Other services include free business valuations, consulting, and planning.

Currently BCV has 14 licensed real estate agents/associates who are well versed in both commercial real estate and business brokerage. The company’s main office is located at 1301 York Road in Lutherville Maryland and they also operate a satellite office at 323 Williams Street in Bel Air Maryland. BCV recently added Rob Keesling as an agent/associate who resides in Ocean Pines and will be serving Berlin, Salisbury, and Ocean City.

Although his was raised in Bel Air and his career was focused in the Northeastern Maryland market, Rob is very familiar with our community as he has been coming here since 1992, when his parents purchased a home in Ocean Pines. Rob now resides here as well.  Rob has three grown children and 1 grandchild (11 months) at present.

A 1983 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Business Management, Rob had a very successful career in the Telecommunications Industry for almost 30 years. Rob worked in various sales sales/management rolls all within the commercial sector.
