Come test drive an electric vehicle at 2nd Annual Ride & Drive at Roger Williams Park
Have you been thinking about upgrading to an electric car or plug-in hybrid, but have some questions?

Come take a test drive and talk to EV ambassadors about their ownership experience.

The 2nd Annual Ride & Drive will take place on Sunday, September 22, from 1-4 p.m. at the Roger Williams Park Boathouse, 1000 Elmwood Ave in Providence.

This event is hosted by the Green Energy Consumers Alliance in partnership with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources, Ocean State Clean Cities, National Grid and the Department of Environmental Management.

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register.
National Grid extends Nissan rebate through Sept. 30
National Grid has extended its rebate program for the purchase of a Nissan LEAF.

The company is offering $5,000 back on the 2019 Nissan LEAF and $2,500 on the 2019 LEAF Plus to encourage more people to become electric vehicle owners.

AltWheels Fleet Day, Oct. 7, showcases transportation options
AltWheels Fleet Day is the largest annual gathering of corporate, federal, municipal, and state fleet managers on the East Coast.

Designed to present the latest in transportation technologies, alternative fuels and fleet management practices, AltWheels Fleet Day consists of panels, exhibits, and displays of concept cars, as well as vehicles that are available today.

The event will be held on Monday October 7, 2019, at Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood, Mass.
