Welcome to the new OSCCC Newsletter!
As you may have heard, the Ocean State Clean Cities Coalition has moved to the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources . After 10 successful years leading OSCCC, Wendy Lucht has taken a new position and has stepped down as OSCC coordinator. We want to thank Wendy for her service and for her role in growing the coalition!

We are excited to pick up where Wendy left off and work with you to advance alternative fuel use here in RI. As we gain our bearings, we plan to utilize these newsletters to keep you in-the-know on news, events, and funding opportunities around alternative fuels, and hope to coordinate stakeholder meetings in the future.

National Grid Launches new Electric Vehicle Charging Programs
As part of the amended rate case settlement with the RI Public Utilities Commission (PUC), National Grid has launched new programs aimed at increasing charging station deployment throughout Rhode Island. The new programs will add Level II and DC Fast Chargers to Rhode Island roadways over the next two years. Locations will include workplaces, apartment complexes, government and corporate fleets, along with public transit stations and income eligible community sites. National Grid will pay for all "make-ready" work, including 100% of the electrical infrastructure for approved projects, and in many cases offer rebates on the equipment with verified charging vendors.

In addition, National Grid offers comprehensive fleet advisory services to interested RI fleets. This includes corporate light-duty, government light/medium/heavy-duty, public transit, and municipal school buses.
