Botany Boot Camp Monday - Friday, June 27-July 1 @ 12:30PM Ages 7-10 Learn about soil and plants in this weeklong Botany Bootcamp. Registration required beginning June 25 at the link above.

Kids Self-Care Bingo Tuesday, July 5 @ 11:00AM Ages 9-12 This program provides a variety of examples of how we can practice self-care each day. We will be talking about making time for ourselves daily and making sure we nourish our body, mind, and soul. We will be discussing the importance of self-care and its health benefits while playing BINGO.  Register at the link above.

Lego Club Wednesday, July 6 @ 6:30PM Ages 7-13 Join our Lego club to make a creation that fits the building challenge.  Register at the link above.

Hungry Hippos Game (Life Sized) Thursday, July 7 @ 6:00PM Ages 7-12 Make your own hippo head and play a life sized version of Hungry Hippos! Register at the link above.

Weekly Summer Programs

Silly Songs & Stories on Mondays @ 10:30AM Ages 0-3 Sing, dance, play, and listen to stories! This program is 30 minutes of songs and stories followed by 30 minutes of free play. This storytime is open to kids ages 0-3. No registration required.

Kids Monday Movie Mondays @ 2:30PM Ages 4 & up Watch a fun ocean themed movie every week. Ages 4 and up with a parent/caregiver.  Register required at the link above beginning June 25. Please register each person attending separately.

Yummy Stories Tuesdays beginning July 5 @ 3:30PM Ages 3-7 Join us for stories, songs and a yummy no bake treat that you make yourself.

Reading Buddies Wednesdays 3:00-5:00PM Grow your skills by reading with one of our teen volunteers! Click the link below to sign up for a specific 30-minute time slot each week on our Events Calendar.

Week 1 Waves and Beach Erosion. Registration required, beginning June 23. Ocean Explorers Thursday, June 30 @ 10:30AM Ages 6-10 Join Miss Pam as we explore the depths of the oceans this summer. Each week we will focus on a different theme and include a related hands-on experiment. Register for each week separately. Each registration will open one week before the session takes place. Limited to 15 children.

Seas the Day Fridays @ 11:00AM Ages 3-6 Stories, songs and a craft about a different sea creature each week.  No registration necessary.

Family FunDay Sunday Sundays from 1:00-4:00PM Drop by the library on Sundays anytime between 1:00 and 4:00pm for a family oriented activity or craft to do with your children. Instructions and supplies will be available for these self-guided sessions. Something different every week with a tie-in to our Summer Reading Theme: Oceans of Possibilities!

JUST for TEENS

Teen Advisory Board Wednesday, July 20 @ 3:00PM Gr. 7-12 Our year-round volunteer group decides on new activities for the library and makes public events for children and their own age groups. Earn community service hours! Register at the link above so we can send you the Zoom link.

Teen Jackbox Game Night Wednesday, June 29 @ 6:00PM Ages 13-18 Hang out and play Jackbox games. Registration required, beginning June 25.

Youth Services Surprise Book Bundles may still be requested for multiple children and teens in a family. Items will be selected by the Children's Department staff based upon your child's interests.
