The Movies in the Park series kicks off with a showing of Top Gun: Maverick at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheater on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The movie will start at dusk (approximately 7:30 p.m.). Join us before the movie for family-focused games and activities!

OPEN GYM HOURS

Drop-in Open Gym is available at both the Junior Seau Beach Community Center and the Melba Bishop Recreation Center. It's a great opportunity for all ages to stay active, healthy, and enjoy a variety of sports. Open Gym Hours

Join us for an unforgettable aquatic adventure at the Mermaid Pirate Pool Party hosted by Oceanside Parks and Recreation. Arrive dressed as a mermaid or pirate and get ready to dive into the fun! The party will take place at the William A. Wagner Aquatic Center on May 27 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Swim with mermaids, walk the plank with pirates, participate in a treasure hunt, and compete in fun water games and challenges. This event is perfect for families looking for a unique and exciting way to spend a day at the pool. Tickets are $7 per person, and kids ages three and under are free. Grab your sunscreen, towels, and pirate hats or mermaid tails, and join us for a splashing good time at the Mermaid Pirate Pool Party on May 27.

SENIOR SERVICES OFFERED

Oceanside senior citizens are invited to visit one of the City's senior centers to enjoy lunch, monthly events, and plenty of activities.

The Country Club Senior Center hosts lunch Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to noon. For more information, please call 760-435-5250. Learn more about what's offered
