Join us! Oceanside Parks & Recreation is hosting a free Concert in the Park featuring Savor: A Santana Tribute at Buchanon Park on Friday, August 4. Buchanon Park is located at 425 College Blvd, Oceanside, CA 92057.

From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., Vedanza Dance Studio will be offering a lively salsa and bachata lesson. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Savor: A Santana Tribute takes the stage.

Bring a beach chair or blankets. Food trucks and family-friendly activities will be available at the event. Please note: canopies and large umbrellas are not permitted. Parking is limited. We encourage carpooling, biking, taking transit, or walking. Bikers, walkers, and transit takers can stop by the Parks & Recreation booth for a free gift.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Parks & Recreation offers Oceanside youth ages 1-17 scholarships to qualifying families for a wide range of activities. Parks and Recreation is committed to providing opportunities for all Oceanside children to play, learn, and grow. Details



FOR KIDS SAKE

The "For Kids Sake" program is now open for registration. Registration is available for programming at the Balderrama Recreation Center, the Landes Community Center, and the Bishop Recreation Center.

Parks and Recreation presents Lilo and Stitch at the Wagner Aquatic Center on Saturday, August 12! Enjoy a recreational swim from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Then, beginning at 7:15 p.m., catch a dynamic performance and lesson from the Ka Lama Lama ʻO Kauʻi Kūikanani hula hālau (school). The movie will begin at approximately 7:40 p.m. Tickets are $7 per person and kids ages 3 and under are free. More information and tickets

SENIOR SERVICES OFFERED

Oceanside senior citizens are invited to visit one of the City's Senior Centers to enjoy lunch, monthly events, and plenty of activities.

The Country Club Senior Center hosts lunch Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to noon. For more information, please call 760-435-5250. Learn more about what's offered
