Fall Activity Guide

 

The 2026 Fall Activity Guide is here! Get ready for a season full of fun with a new Paint by the Beach class, Tai Chi for seniors, a new adult volleyball league, and plenty of special events including the Halloween Trunk or Treat and Fall Soccer Clinic in November. Registration is open.

 

Afterschool Mobile Recreation Program

Kids ages 6-14 are invited to join Recreation Leaders for free, fun-filled afternoons with games, crafts, and snacks:

  • Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Libby Lake Park. (504 Calle Montecito, Oceanside, CA 92057)
  • Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Park at Crown Heights. (1309 Division St Oceanside, CA 92054)

Halloween Paint-and-Sip

 
 

Join us on Saturday, October 3 from 3:30-6 p.m. at Heritage Park (220 Peyri Dr) for a refreshing and creative afternoon. Enjoy 30 minutes of charcuterie and drinks before the painting class begins at 4 p.m. The class will feature a Halloween-themed painting. All supplies will be provided. This event is open to ages 21 and older with I.D. Parking is available on-site. Registration is $50 per person. Sign up

 

Halloween Trunk-or-Treat

 

Join us on Saturday, October 17 from 2-5 p.m. at Mance Buchanon Park (425 College) for trick-or-treating, games, crafts, and inflatable fun. Bring the kids in costume! The participating open trunks, tailgates, and truck beds will be decked out in creative, spooky, or silly Halloween decorations. If you’re interested in "hosting" a trunk, register here.

 

Tiny Tots Programs Run All Year

Tiny Tots sessions run for six weeks, all year! This early childhood drop-off program combines play, circle time, learning activities, and crafts to build early academic and social skills. Designed for fully potty-trained children, it offers an engaging, affordable preschool alternative or extra preparation for kindergarten. Learn more

Adult Swim Class

This class is designed to introduce and improve on the basic skills necessary to meet the individual's personal goals. Classes are taught at beginner and intermediate levels by experienced water

safety instructors. Sign up here

Coffee in the Park

Come share your thoughts and a cup of coffee with our director, Manuel Gonzalez, at Oak Riparian Park (4625 Lake Blvd) on Thursday, October 15, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Your voice counts in creating programs and events!

Zumba Class

Enjoy a fun and easy-to-follow dance class for those 55+. Come groove to Cha Cha, Merengue, Salsa, Swing, and more. Low Impact Zumba Class is also available for ages 18+. Dates range from late September to December 17. Register today
