2026 Spring Activity Guide

Explore a new season of programs, classes, and community events for all ages in the Parks & Recreation Winter Activity Guide. From youth sports and enrichment activities to adult fitness and senior programs, there’s truly something for everyone. Scholarships are available!

Join us for the Spring Egg Hunt April 4

Join in on the family fun at the Parks & Recreation annual Spring Egg Hunt at Mance Buchanon Park, Saturday, April 4, 2026. This free event is open to children up to 11 years old. Bring your own egg basket or bag and get ready for a morning full of excitement! The event will feature a special toddler egg hunt for ages 2 and under, as well as the main egg hunt for children ages 3–11. There will also be an “All egg-bilities” hunt designed for children with adaptive needs. Families can enjoy festive bunny photo opportunities and a fun and family-friendly magic show. We hope to see you there for a joyful celebration filled with community spirit. Event Schedule

Summer Camp Guide is Out!

Summer Camp registration is now open! Get ready for a season full of fun, adventure, and active days for kids of all ages. From sports and games at the Beach & Ball Camp to exciting afternoon adventures at Sunsational Camp, the kids will have a blast. Summer Camps begin Monday, June 15. 

April Pools Day April 11

Join us for a free water safety event on April 11 from noon to 4PM hosted by City of Oceanside lifeguards called "April Pools Day." This great event takes place at Brooks Street Swim Center (130 Brooks Street). Sample swim lessons, learn safety tips for backyard pools, and watch lifeguards demonstrate lifesaving skills. Learn basic CPR taught by Oceanside emergency responders. In addition to water safety education, we'll have recreation swim, lap swim, raffles, and treats. Don't miss this fun and educational day at the Brooks Street Swim Center!

Something for Everyone!

Many Senior Services

Come by the Country Club Senior Center between 11:15 a.m. to noon for lunch with friends and neighbors 60 years and older. Seniors are also invited to sign up for one of the many activities at Country Club Senior Center or El Corazon Senior Center, including Ceramics, Table Tennis, Line Dancing, Yoga, and more.

Synchronized Swimming

Synchronized Swimming begins on Monday, April 7, and introduces participants to proper water treading techniques, artistic swim movements, and coordinated routines performed in sync with music and teammates. Swimmers build strength, grace, and confidence while learning the fundamentals of this dynamic sport. Details

SkateLife

This class is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of skateboarding in a safe and supportive environment. Class members develop balance and coordination while learning skate park safety and etiquette. The course starts on April 11 and helps build confidence on and off the board, helping young skaters grow their skills. More Information
