Montgomery Township Committee has secured the New Jersey Division of Taxation to come to the Montgomery Library Program Room for property tax rebate programs form filing assistance on Monday, Oct. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. They will provide support and answer questions regarding the application required for:

• ANCHOR (available to most homeowners and renters)
• Stay NJ (homeowners aged 65 and older)
• Senior Freeze (homeowners aged 65 and older)

This year, only one application is required to apply for all three programs. Forms must be filed by Oct. 31.

Climb aboard a fire truck, explore the gear and meet the heroes keeping our community safe at the Annual Fire Prevention Open House on Saturday. This year, Montgomery Volunteer Fire Co. #2 is hosting at 529 County Rt. 518, Blawenberg, NJ 08504.

If you are ready to decorate your trunk and show off Montgomery’s Halloween spirit on Saturday, Oct. 25, then we invite you to register for Trunk or Treat. Only people and organizations interested in decorating and handing out candy must register in advance through this form.

Trunk or treaters who are dressing up in costumes and collecting candy do not need to register in advance.
