The Kauaʻi Community College Transfer Center is celebrating transfer students and the University of Hawaiʻi campus partners who support them on their journeys with a Transfer Tuesdays event kickoff in the month of October. Keep an eye out for our upcoming Transfer Tuesday events happening in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Lobby. Come meet and talk with our UH partner campuses - UH Hilo, UH Maui College, UH Mānoa, and UH West Oʻahu - about admissions, their programs, and transfer. Don’t miss out on the fun & tasty giveways and a chance to win a cool prize by participating in a fun college pennant activity! Exploring Fear Halloween Exhibit

Oct. 24-27

Exploring Fear Halloween Exhibit

A sensory-based S.T.E.M. experience for older students and families.

This Halloween, Cognition Learning Center (Cogs) at Kauaʻi Community College would like to present a sensory based walkthrough experience for the public. The Cogs mission is to inspire and encourage inquiry, exploration, and hands-on learning to excite students of all ages. Inspired by The San Francisco Exploratorium and other museum exhibits like Goose bumps at The California Science Center, Cogs has hosted a few S.T.E.M. based walkthroughs on campus at Kauaʻi Community College. This past year we hosted one in the theme of Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory and ran it as a field trip opportunity for the younger students in our community. In line with our mission of servicing students of all ages, the Exploring Fear Exhibit would provide a modern type haunted house experience targeted for the older students (teens, tweens and college students) and the general public.
