Message from the Executive Director

Greetings PALM Family,

As we enter the final months of the year, I want to take a moment to thank you for being part of the PALM community. Your support, kindness, and joy fill our days with purpose and remind us why our mission matters so deeply. Together, we continue to make PALM a place where everyone belongs and positive aging is celebrated every day.

This season brings many opportunities to come together. In October, we will celebrate our members’ birthdays and share in the joy of another year of life and friendship.

In November, join your PALM Family as we celebrate our Thanksgiving Holiday Dinner on Friday, November 21 with food, fun, and games. It’s a special time to reflect on our blessings and give thanks as a community. Please make your reservations early and see the flyer inside for more details.

On December 11, 2025, we will set sail on the Spirit of Philadelphia for a festive holiday celebration filled with food, fun, and laughter. Members and friends are invited to take part in a Secret Santa Gift Exchange. You can bring a wrapped gift valued at $20 or less if you'd like to participate.

Tickets: $82 for members | $87 for non-members

Payments: October 31 (deposit), November 15, and December 1

Please note: The first payment serves as a non-refundable deposit to confirm your reservation.

The bus to the event departs at 9:30 AM. Transportation space is limited; please reserve your spot early.

As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited to share that our anticipated move-in date for the newly renovated PALM building is January. We cannot wait to welcome you home and begin this next chapter together.

Stay tuned for more information about our PALM Legacy Paver Project, a wonderful opportunity to leave your personal mark and become part of PALM’s lasting history.

Our Newsletter Is Now Quarterly

PALM’s newsletter will now be published once per quarter, covering three months at a time.

During the months between issues, we’ll reshare the current newsletter and include any new announcements, updated birthdays, and important reminders so everyone stays up to date.

Introducing Our New In Memory Of Section

At PALM, we lovingly honor those who have passed, including our cherished board members, members, and volunteers, whose lives and contributions have deeply impacted our community. To celebrate their legacy, we are introducing an In Memoriam section in our future newsletters, providing a space to remember our loved ones.

If you know of someone you would like us to honor, please email their name and any information you would like to share to info@palmseniors.org, and they will be included in our next newsletter. We deeply appreciate your help in ensuring we remember and celebrate all who have touched our community.
