Kids had great fun at Union Public Library this summer creating this collaborative art piece they named “Mr. Hissster.”
The snake grew in size as each participant added their own colorful creations. The photo shows all 33 feet of Mr. Hissster!

All About Seed Saving with a URI Master Gardener | |

Join us in the library's Native Plant Garden for a talk and hands-on activity on seed saving with URI Master Gardener Sheila Sullivan.
We'll talk about native plants, why they're important, how to collect and save seeds, and how to to share them with your neighbors through the Grow RI Native Seeds program.
All ages are welcome!
* In case of inclement weather, the program will take place in the Community Room.

The next Friends of Tiverton Libraries Book and Bake Sale is scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, in the Community Room.
Browse through many great books, puzzles, and DVDs, and shop for freshly baked treats.
Please withhold any book donations at this time, as we are currently taking this opportunity to clean house.
We will happily accept donations of baked goods for the bake sale portion of this event. Baked goods may be brought to the library between 2:00 and 4:00pm on Friday, November 1st, or at 10:00am on Saturday, November 2nd.

The Audrain Automobile Museum in Newport has collections containing over 400 cars and motorcycles, ranging from brass-era Veteran cars to Supercars of today, and displays four unique, imaginatively curated thematic exhibitions each year.
Their latest exhibit, History, Luxury, Sport: Automobiles in Newport, features a 1901 Panhard, 1902 Mors Type Z, 1927 Isotta-Fraschini, 1953 Abarth coupe, a 1961 Pontiac Ventura, 1964 Lamborghini 350GT, and 1980 BMW M1. The exhibit runs through December 8, 2024.
The library’s pass admits 2 people to the Audrain Automobile Museum for FREE.
