Reaching Our World For Christ
From Your Associational Mission Strategist
I praise God for the wonderful time we had together at our Annual meeting last month. God spoke to us in a very powerful way and reminded us how important it is for us to reach the lost with the Gospel. I appreciate the message from Rev. Mike Stone as he brought a very strong and convicting message that Hell is a real place and many will go there if we don’t reach them with the Good News! We had approximately 150 in attendance which included the children’s group that met during the meeting! I look forward to next year as we meet at Pinecrest Baptist Church on September 8th! Please mark it on your calendars. You won’t want to miss it!

On October 5th and 6th we will be having a Church Revitalization Summit at Morningside Baptist Church. I want to strongly encourage all our Pastors and their key leadership to attend this summit. Dr. Steve Sells will be sharing information that will be very beneficial regarding the health and vibrancy of the local church. Many of our churches are plateaued and declining and this summit will bring awareness to key realities that we are facing and how to revitalize the local church. The information about the topics and the time of this summit is found in this newsletter. Please make every effort to attend and let us know as soon as possible how many from your church will attend.

Our Hispanic mission in Vienna, GA is having a special conference on October 11th and 12th. Rev. Brian Leverett and I will be preaching messages to this congregation that will encourage them to fulfill their mission in reaching the Hispanics in Dooly County. On Sunday afternoon October 14th at 4:00 p.m. we are going to have a joint worship celebration with them! Rev. Bruce Howland will be bringing the message and I want to encourage our churches to send as many people possible to this worship celebration to let them know that we support them in their ministry. They are going to provide a meal after the service. Please make plans to attend this special service at New Life Baptist Church (Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida). The address is 211 North 7th Street in Vienna, GA. Let’s shower them with our love and support!

May God continue to bless our Pastors and our Churches, and may we work tirelessly to reach the lost in our communities!
Bro. Gary
