It is hard to believe it is almost November! It seems like summer was only yesterday. The weather has been fabulous for being outdoors and celebrating this beautiful time of year.
Hopefully it will continue for awhile longer as we head into the winter months.
We’ve had more opportunities to meet and greet our members within the last few weeks.
Thank you to our speaker Dave Montgomery on September 30th, who spoke on I know so money vs. I hope so money. It was an informative talk about how to manage your social security and other related money issues. Rachel’s Restaurant provided a delicious lunch as well.
Then we had another great luncheon at Hibiscus on the Mile. Thank you, John Maguire, who spoke about How to prepare for a Crisis and navigate through it, after it happens. Being aware of these things is vital in today’s world.
Our next network event will be this Thursday, October 28th at 6:30 PM. It will be at the Caribbean Island Restaurant on Woodcleft Ave. Debra Mule will be our speaker. A separate email will be sent our shortly.
Congratulations to Hugh Carroll of Halfway Down ( On the Nautical Mile) We wish him continued success.

Our Fall Festival was held this past Sunday and it was a blast. We had a chowder/soup contest, a parade, costumes, vendors and much more. It was a fun event for the whole family.
Our condolences go out to our Mayor Robert Kennedy, as his beloved mother passed on. As a close nit village, we all felt the grieve and sorrow of this news.
Thank you to all our members, who make Freeport a better place for everyone. We couldn’t do the things we do without your support.
As we move into the Holiday season next month, we wish everyone a happy safe Halloween.
