A MESSAGE FROM MR. AIKEN
Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences
All-School Chapel & Mt. Nebo Grandparents Day

Dear Parents,

We are quickly approaching the end of quarter 1 and want to look ahead to monitoring and ensuring academic progress and parent/student/teacher conferences.

ParentWeb provides immediate access to your child’s academic progress and is available to you daily. We encourage you to have regular discussions with your child about their classes and their progress in them. Faculty members are available to you daily through email. Additionally, parents can schedule a conference with a teacher any school day morning from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM.

Conferences for high school students (grades 9-12) and parents during the designated conference days of October 30 (1:00 PM-8:30 PM) and October 31 (7:30 AM-3:00 PM) can be scheduled with an individual faculty member. Please contact Joyce Afflerbach at jafflerbach@edenca.org to schedule a conference with an individual faculty member.

Conferences for middle school students (grades 7 and 8) and parents during the designated conference days of October 30 (1:00 PM-8:30 PM) and October 31 (7:30 AM-3:00 PM) can be scheduled with either a group of teachers or with an individual faculty member. Please contact Joyce Afflerbach at jafflerbach@edenca.org to schedule a conference with a group of teachers or an individual faculty member.

We desire that students attend all conferences . This assists each student in taking individual responsibility and ownership of their academic progress. Please contact me if you have any questions.

This week, all parents and grandparents are invited to the All School Chapel and Mt. Nebo Grandparents Day on Wednesday, October 16, at 12:45 . The special service will be held at our Wexford Campus which is located in North Way Christian Community Church at 12121 Perry Highway, Wexford, 15090 . The Mt. Nebo Chapel Team will lead the service which is approximately one hour long. Additionally, we will hear from the Class of 2020 as they present their goals for the school year.

Students will be transported via school buses to the service. At the conclusion of the chapel, students are able to be dismissed with either their grandparents or a parent. Students should notify their TS teacher if they are being dismissed early. Students not being dismissed will be transported back to the Mt. Nebo Campus for the daily dismissal at 2:50.

We hope that you are able to attend!

God Bless,
Todd Aiken
