Meet Republican Candidates

Rep. John Lujan and Adam Hinojosa

Its hard to believe that October is already upon us and we are just 40 days away from the November elections. We have just one month left to campaign for our Republican candidates and only two more calls to squeeze in before election day.

Our next call will be on October 14th and will feature two amazing leaders in the Hispanic communities. Rep. John Lujan (HD-118) is currently serving in the Texas House of Representatives for District 118 in San Antonio. Lujan recently won a special election flipping the Democratic held seat marking the beginning of the red wave! Adam Hinojosa (SD-27) is also fighting to flip a Democratic seat after its incumbent recently announced retirement. Both candidates will be fantastic assets for Texas conservatives. If you haven't registered for the Zoom calls yet, be sure to do so, you do not want to miss hearing about these exciting campaigns and what YOU can do to ensure their victory in November (perhaps participating in one of the TFRW Red Heel Brigades, see below)! HOUSE REPUBLICANS' COMMITMENT TO AMERICA

House Republicans have set out a bold agenda with four clear steps to hold Biden and Democrats accountable for two years of failure. This agenda will achieve a Strong Economy, a Safe Nation, a Free America, and an Accountable Government.

TFRW RED HEEL BRIGADE

I am excited to share with you that TFRW is working with the RNC, The Dallas and Collin County GOP locations and other partners in coordinating a multi-organizational block walk for the Republican candidates across Texas. We have several of these currently scheduled, all are invited to join!

We will be in McAllen, Laredo and San Antonio campaigning for the Valley and statewide candidates - We will be utilizing the RNC Community Centers.

Democrats Won't Keep Americans Safe

Americans are facing unprecedented crime in their communities, yet Democrats are pushing disastrous soft-on-crime policies that only further embolden criminals.

What you need to know:

• Senate Democrat candidates are fighting for criminals to walk free and to defund the police. 
• Wisconsin Democrat Senate candidate Mandela Barnes wants to eliminate cash bail and release half the state’s inmates.
• Pennsylvania Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman has bragged about putting a record number of criminals back on the street, on at least 13 occasions expressed support for releasing one-third of Pennsylvania's prison population, and supports ending “ life without parole” for many murderers. 
• Nevada Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto voted “more than 75 times to minimize the sentences of violent criminals " while on the Nevada Board of Pardons Commissioners.
• Georgia Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock, who was once arrested for obstructing a police investigation into a child abuse case, says he wants to " reimagine” policing and supports ending cash bail.
• North Carolina Democrat Senate candidate Cheri Beasley has fundraised with and received endorsements from prominent anti-police groups and candidates. 
• Ohio Democrat Senate candidate Tim Ryan spent years calling the criminal justice system “racist” and the " new Jim Crow.”
• Americans are paying the price for Democrats' soft-on-crime policies. 
• Crime sprees, like surging car thefts and smash and grab robberies, are taking over cities, with more and more crimes happening in broad daylight.
• Biden’s open border policies “are fueling a drug-related crime wave across the United States.”
• More and more Americans are voicing their fears and frustrations over the " out of control” crime affecting their daily lives and looking for ways to get out of Democrat-run cities.
• Polling consistently shows the American people are fed up with Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies.
• In a national poll, the RNC found that Republicans lead Democrats by 16-points on the issue of crime. 
• Crime is the second most important issue to voters right now, coming second only to the economy.​​​
• An ABC News Poll found 61% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of crime.
• Americans’ concern about crime and violence is at its highest level in years, with 53% worrying about crime a "great deal" according to Gallup. 

The bottom line:

Republicans will always fight for safe communities and law and order. Voters are taking note – when Democrats are in charge, criminals run rampant. In November, Americans will hold Democrats accountable for their unacceptable and reckless crime policies.

Biden’s Border Crisis: Over 4.4 Million Illegal Crossings

The facts are clear: Biden's border crisis rages on despite Kamala Harris' claim that the border is "secure".

What you need to know:

• Newly released Customs and Border Protection data shows 203,597 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in August.
• The total number of illegal border crossings during the Biden administration is now over 4.4 million.
• 11,365 unaccompanied children were apprehended. 
• 104,679 illegal immigrants were apprehended from countries outside the Northern Triangle and Mexico, showing that Biden’s crisis is global.
• 66 migrants on the terror watchlist have been apprehended trying to enter the U.S. between ports of entry since the fiscal year began in October.
• Border Patrol is now encountering as many as 8,000 illegal immigrants crossing the border each day, the highest number of daily encounters in DHS history. 
• Illicit drugs are flowing into the country at an alarming rate.

• Nearly 750 illegal migrants have died this fiscal year attempting to cross the border, making this fiscal year the deadliest in the history of the southwest border with a month to go.
• Biden’s disastrous policies created the crisis at the southern border.
• Americans are witnessing crisis at the border month after month thanks to Biden’s reckless open border policies.

The bottom line:

In November, voters will hold Biden and Democrats accountable for their policies by electing Republicans up and down the ballot who will fight to secure our border and keep our communities safe.
