Support The Arc of Massachusetts
Friend, You Can Make Good News Happen
At the end of the summer, we celebrated good news: the legislature and Governor approved a significant increase in funding for the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Programs supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism received a boost of more than 8%, nearly $187 million!

This will have a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and autism and their families. In some cases, it will even be life-changing.

The Arc’s dedicated and generous donors helped to successfully get the message out about what people with I/DD and autism need right now. So, while we all can celebrate the budget success, there is still much work to be done in ensuring that all people with I/DD in Massachusetts have opportunities to be part of the community, are treated with respect, and receive the support that they need to live full lives.

Two of our legislative priorities – Nicky’s Law and the Workforce Initiative – are working to that end. The Arc cannot and will not let up and you are essential to all of this. Will you give and be a part of the solution?

By giving online at www.arcmass.org/donate , your gift will go to work immediately.

Certainly, you want more good news. You can make that happen.

Operation House Call is seeking new volunteer families
Operation House Call continues to grow and grow. As a result, we are currently looking to recruit more volunteer families who are willing to host home visits with medical professionals. We are also currently offering a $50 stipend to current OHC families who make a referral.
