11:30 AM CREATION Life Seminar
Session 2 with Dr. Meechai Tessalee
| | | |
| | CREATION Life Seminar continues this Sabbath at 11:30AM with Session 2. | |
This week's topic is "Rest".
Rest is the restoration of mind, body, and spirit. Your best rest includes a good night's sleep and making time to relax daily, weekly, and yearly.
| | | |
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will." – Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)
| |

October 30- November 1 at Camp Akita
| |
We’re so excited to come together again for the Illinois Conference Young Adult Retreat! Every year, this retreat gives us a chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life, reconnect with God, and build deeper relationships with one another.
This year, we’re gathering at camp with one big focus: Kingdom First. What does it actually look like to put God first in the middle of real life? Together, we’ll explore what it means to live Kingdom First as young adults.
Please Note: Attendees must be between 18 and 35 years old. Children are not permitted.

"NEXT, Who Are You Becoming?" | ILY Public High School Retreat
November 13 – 15 | Camp Akita (1684 Knox Road 1200 N, Gilson IL 61436)
| |
Your school is more than just a place to study. It's a place where God has called you to make a difference! We invite all public high school students to a weekend designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus, discover your God-given purpose, and understand how your faith can make a difference wherever God has placed you.
Being a Christian in high school isn't always easy. Between friendships, expectations, social pressures, and questions about your future, it's easy to wonder where you belong and who you're becoming. But here's something we want you to remember: You belong. You matter. You're not alone.
Join other high school students for three days of meaningful worship, real conversations, new friendships, outdoor adventures, and opportunities to discover what's NEXT in your journey with Jesus. Grow in your faith. Find your community.
