This Week in School and Campus Safety

Good morning,

This Weekly Update by the Illinois School and Campus Safety Program provides information on America's Safe Schools Week and National School Bus Safety Week, and promotes upcoming classes.

Thank you for your interest in school and campus safety. However, if you wish to no longer receive our emails, just let me know and I will remove you from our contacts list.

Respectfully,

Laura Black
Program Coordinator
Illinois School and Campus Safety Program
America's Safe Schools Week and National School Bus Safety Week

Next week is both America's Safe Schools Week and National School Bus Safety Week. For America's Safe Schools Week, consider reviewing information on school safety topics on the Illinois School and Campus Safety Resource Center webpage. Also, the National School Safety Center has provided information on getting school board members, employees, students, parents, community leaders, and others involved in school safety. Lastly, National SAVE (Student Against Violence Everywhere) has provided a list of suggested school activities and contests.

For National School Bus Safety Week, the National Association of Pupil Transportation hosts an annual poster contest and provides school bus safety tips, as well as other resources.
