Our 19th annual Dayspring Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 19, from 5-8pm. This is a church-wide event and is also open to the preschool and surrounding community. Costumes are encouraged! Join our youth as they host this evening full of fun fall themed activities for families, games, bounce houses, haunted house, trunk-or-treating and more! This Sunday, October 20, from 5-8pm, come together for live music and food and hear from award-winning authors who will explore a hopeful Christian vision for a multi-racial, multi-faith democracy. The Faith and Democracy Tour features Diana Butler Bass, Author of Freeing Jesus: Rediscovering Jesus as Friend, Teacher, Savior, Lord, Way, and Presence; Kristin Du Mez, Author of Jesus and John Wayne: How White Evangelicals Corrupted a Faith and Fractured a Nation; Robert P. Jones, Author of The Hidden Roots of White Supremacy and the Path to a Shared American Future; and Jemar Tisby, Author of The Spirit of Justice: True Stories of Faith, Race, and Resistance as well as special musical performances. PERSONAL ESTATE PLANNING WORKSHOP |
Join us for a Personal Estate Planning Workshop this Sunday from 11:15am - 12:30pm in Room 112. Anne Green and Judi Smith from the Desert Southwest United Methodist Foundation will join us to talk about the need for estate planning to protect your loved ones and your assets.
If you have a will or a trust you may think you have done everything you need to, however, laws change; new opportunities present themselves; loved ones pass; other circumstances change. All of those situations can make the plan you worked on need a refresh. Anne and Judi will provide some tools for looking at your personal financial picture and making plans for your future needs.

United Women in Faith are collaborating with Women4Women Tempe to help unhoused and low-income women in our communities maintain their dignity, health, and self-respect by providing feminine hygiene products to those in need. Please consider donating feminine hygiene products (menstrual pads, tampons, etc.) at the following dates and locations:

Our ninth annual Blessing of the Animals is next Sunday, October 27, at 12:00pm. All pets are welcome. Please bring dogs on a leash or in a carrier. If you’re unable to bring your pet, for any reason, but would still like them blessed, please bring a photo. Children are invited to bring their stuffed animals for a special blessing during Children’s Time at the 10:00am service. | |

The children in BeTween are raising money by hosting a car wash next Sunday, October 27, from 11:15 to 12:30 in the church parking lot. Your donations will support our Christmas service project for local kids in need. | |

As countless families and communities face the overwhelming aftermath of Hurricanes Milton and Helene, UMCOR (the United Methodist Committee on Relief) is supporting the efforts of conference disaster response ministries across the region.
