Dear Parents,

This morning as I walked toward our school, the cross above North Way Church caught my attention. I have walked into the building every day for over two months and have never noticed it.

Why didn’t I see it?

As I pondered that thought I concluded that I didn’t see it because I wasn’t looking up. It’s not that the cross wasn’t there. It was all a matter of my perspective.

As I looked up, I wondered if we place our trust solely in the power of the cross and Jesus’ redemptive work or do we place our trust in our accomplishments, our ability to work hard, our personality or connections? Those are good gifts from the Lord and blessings, no doubt, but, the only connection truly required for mankind is with Jesus.

If our trust is solely in Christ, we can lead ourselves and our families well. It is because we have chosen Christ as our Savior that teachers at Eden can lead students well. He is our focus.
Look up. Don’t be distracted.

Take your eyes off things that are temporary and place them on the eternal. In 2 Corinthians, Paul assures us that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Look up!

Strategic plan Survey 4 was sent to your email on October 16.
The board of directors and administration of Eden Christian Academy are committed to creating a campus life experience with student activities that foster Christian fellowship that is fun, meaningful, and joyful, and that help students internalize a desire for and commitment to participating in, contributing to, and serving in Christ-centered community.
Your response to Survey 4 will help us determine what follow-up discussions, research, and focus groups need to be facilitated in order to discern what strategic goals will help us cultivate campus life worthy of a Kingdom school.
We value the time you invest in providing your feedback. To show our appreciation, each week one respondent will be awarded a CHICK-FIL-A FAMILY MEAL. Congratulations to our Survey 2 recipient, Zachary Frantik!

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20

You want to see your child develop his or her talents and grow into the likeness of Christ.

We want that too. Working together, we can achieve this goal.

Conferences are a tremendous opportunity to build and strengthen team relationships as parents and teachers talk about progress seen so far this year.

Be sure to sign-up for your conference online using the link below.
