Mark 10:2-16

Gentle Reader,
Divorce. It touches most of our lives, whether personally or through the experience of a family member or friend. Every divorce is different, but all involve broken promises and a rendering of what once was.  Added to this is the gnawing question of what God thinks as we put asunder what God had joined together. Come this Sunday. Join us in our ongoing Adventures in Discipleship. We will follow Jesus to the heart of this painful and thorny reality with real questions, real challenges, real joys, and real faith. It will be a challenging climb, but the view at the end will be worth it. It may just change your life!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
Pastor Grant

Thanks again,

Jeanne Richards

The Council is Listening
This year's operating budget is based on our Needs, Wants & Wishes.  The council has met with team leads asking them what their anticipated expenses are for 2019.  Now we are asking / listening to the congregation.
Our hope is to put together an accurate budget based on the direction our congregation wants to see the church move.  Please attend one of the Listening Sessions to share your thoughts on the upcoming budget.

Listening Sessions will be located in the library on:

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM YOUR CHURCH COUNCIL

"Give Back to Pay It Forward" is a celebration of St. Paul Lutheran Church's 150th Anniversary. St. Paul Lutheran has had a rich history over the last 150 years and we are looking at continuing that legacy well into the future. As a result we are challenging the entire congregation from, July 29th 2018 through the end of the year, to participate in a matching contributions initiative.

Several members of the congregation have generously offered to match any funds given that are above and beyond the regular weekly giving by the remainder of the congregation.

In order to have your contribution matched, please use your preferred method of donating (envelope, bill pay, online giving), but remember to clearly note that the donation is for "Matching Funds".

As the year progresses we will continue to update the congregation on the success of this initiative.
Check us out.  We're on a Mission of
Sharing Christ's Love With Joy!
