All Soul's Day

All are invited to remember your deceased loved ones at the celebration of Mass on

Thursday, November 2

at 9:00 am in the Church.

The names of those who passed away this past year will be read and honored.

November Remembrances

We invite you to share with us the names of your deceased loved ones who will be remembered at all Masses during the month of November. As a reminder, use the envelope that you received in the mail to include the names of your deceased loved ones, both family and friends.

If you have not received an envelope in the mail, fill out this request.

Our parish family will faithfully pray for those who have gone before us.

RCIA Information Session

We are here and ready to share the richness of our faith with you. If you’ve been looking for answers, we invite you to find out what the Catholic Church offers. RCIA is a comprehensive process, in which the Church supports and encourages the spiritual journeys of those who are unbaptized and seeking to become Catholic and those who are baptized, Catholic or in another Christian denomination, who wish to complete their Sacraments of Initiation (First Eucharist and Confirmation).

We are here to meet you wherever you are on your journey!

Calico Cat Thank You!

Last weekend’s Calico Cat Food Pantry collection was a smashing success. The Pantry couldn't believe how much we collected for those who seek their assistance. They asked that we extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to all who donated.

Once again, our parish has demonstrated its generosity and commitment to helping those in need. Thank you all for having such compassionate, giving and loving hearts.

Morning of Reflection for Parish Ministers

This is an invitation to all who volunteer in the many ministries here at St. Catharine’s.

When: Saturday, October 28

Time: 9:30 AM – 12 Noon

Where: St. Catharine’s Fr. Scheg Center

We invite you to join us in fellowship & reflection as we grow more deeply in faith and understanding of how to live the Gospel. In order to be prepared, registration is necessary. Please contact your ministry head or email Sandy at smullarkey@stcatharine.net and leave your name & ministry, if you plan on attending by October 21. HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US!

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

It is our responsibility as a church to see that the sick and the aged are given the opportunity to receive the Eucharist if they are unable to attend Mass. The Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion assists in this ministry. The EMHC represents Christ and is a sign of support and concern shown by the Christian Community for its member who are ill.

For more information on how to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to the Sick and Homebound contact the parish office 732-842-3963 or parishoffice@stcatharine.net

World Mission Sunday

Embrace the Pope’s Missions with “Hearts on Fire, Feet on the Move” this World Mission Sunday!

Pope Francis echoes the universal call of our Baptism – to be Christ’s witnesses to the world. As we gather with global Catholics on this World Mission Sunday, our prayers and contributions to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith bolster the Pope’s missions, enabling:

  • Over 844,000 catechists to share the faith
  • 258,540 Religious Sisters to tend to families and children
  • 38,140 seminarians to journey towards the priesthood
  • Education for 26 million children
  • Medical assistance in 12,000 clinics
  • Comfort in 8,750 homes for the orphaned and elderly

By supporting this cause, we truly live out the call to be the spark that transforms lives. May your prayers and gifts create ripples of love and transformation. Thank you for your missionary zeal.
