Assisting Clients with Voter Registration
Friends of Mike and Molly McQuaid and volunteers from Jews for Justice are helping clients register to vote this week. A number of clients expressed interest in voting and are excited to have a voice in the upcoming election. Volunteers will also help clients request a mail-in ballot for those who prefer to vote early. The HSC post office provides a valid mailing address for clients to receive their ballot, and it provides the means to mail it in before the deadline. For those clients who would like to go to the polls on election day, campus partner Elaine will provide transportation to and from the polls on November 3rd.

Central City Village Planning Committee Meeting Scheduled
We are pleased to share that we are on the agenda for a vote/recommendation with the Central City Village Planning Committee on Monday, October 12th at 6pm. The Central City Village Planning Committee is the first of three groups which will hear our case and decide whether to support our proposed amendment to the special use permit. As of now, that hearing is scheduled to be virtual through the City of Phoenix’s Webex platform. We will be sure to share the meeting link with you before the hearing.
