Hope you had a great summer filled with time for family, vacation, discovery, and relaxing!
Don't look now, but fall has arrived. That means the
Technical Conference, Oktoberfest and Mini-Expo. But before we get to that, the
Basic Rubber Technology course started September 10th at R.D. Abbott's headquarters in Cerritos. This class and its instructors provide so much value. I highly recommend it to anyone in the rubber industry. (You won't be disappointed!)
The annual
GLTPC Scholarship Golf Tournament was held September 14th at the California Country Club in Whittier. It is always a well-attended event for such a worthy endeavor: Fundraising for student scholarships! This is a big part of who TLARGI is and what our members do in the name of helping students. Thank you for your support!
The
Technical Conference, Oktoberfest and Mini-Expo are coming up on October 6th at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. You definitely don't want to miss this TLARGI Meeting! Come promote your company and visit others at the
Mini-Expo, and enjoy the camaraderie with your peers at the
Oktoberfest. The
Technical Conference has an impressive line-up of guest speakers with a diverse array of subject matter. These speakers plan to share some of the latest technology developments in the rubber industry. The
Oktoberfest Dinner will also feature the initial introduction of your 2016 TLARGI Board candidates.
Come November, we have the final
Golf Tournament of the year on Monday, November 2nd (at Western Hills Country Club) and the final
Dinner Meeting the very next day.
Last, but certainly not least, is the
grand event of the year: The
87th Annual TLARGI Christmas Party. Themed 'A Golden Christmas Ball,' this black-tie affair will be held December 5th at the Westin South Coast Hotel in Costa Mesa.
Mark your calendars and plan accordingly!
Sincerely,
Larry Clarke
2015 TLARGI Chairman
