Thinking of a Charitable Donation?
Want a Tax Receipt?
In 2016 the FHBC Foundation distributed grants to financially support several members of the field hockey community. These grants helped grassroots players pay local club and league fees, regional and provincial athletes pay program fees, post-secondary athletes continue their field hockey participation, and coaches and officials pursue professional development and opportunities.

Please help us make an even bigger impact in 2017 by donating today! All donations or gifts of $25 or more are eligible to receive a tax deductible charitable donation receipt.

Thea Culley Retires from Women's National Team
Congratulations to Thea Culley on an illustrious career with the Canadian Women's National Team! Field Hockey Canada announced Thea's retirement from the National program on September 30th.

Thea began playing field hockey in school in her hometown of Rossland, BC, and quickly picked up the game. She joined Field Hockey BC's regional and provincial programs and played at various tournaments, including Junior National Championships, Canada Summer Games and Senior National Championships. Thea then moved on the international stage, playing for Canada's Junior and Senior National teams. In her 10 year Senior National Team career, Thea has played in 157 international matches and sits as the 4th most-capped Canadian Women's player of all time.

Thea has been an inspiring role model for many of our young athletes, and we want to thank her for all of the ways she has given back to field hockey in our Province. We are lucky to have her as part of our field hockey community.

We wish you all the best in the future, Thea!
