NSPSF Disaster Relief Fund

The National Society of Professional Surveyors Foundation has showcased how well surveyors can come together to support one another. During the massive hurricanes early this month and wildfires that consumed the western part of the country, NSPSF was called upon to aid many surveyors in need. With urgency and professionalism NSPSF was able to respond to every request thanks to the donations made from people like you. If you would like to read more about the recent efforts of NSPSF,  please click here.

NSPS Future of Surveying Forum Questionnaire

The NSPS Future of Surveying Forum is creating short, pop questionnaires (3popQs) for the survey profession to answer to help  with developing and maintaining resources, marketing plans, and educational ideas for the profession. Please take the questionnaire and distribute to your contacts, employees, and students. It will remain open until October 16.

Here is the link to the second pop questionnaire.  It should take less than one minute to complete.

Certificates of Appreciation for Monument Perpetuation

The Monument Conservation Committee (MCC) has developed a certificate for those Chapters who wish to honor an individual who has performed outstanding efforts in the perpetuation of survey monuments. This certificate is intended to reinforce the need to preserve monuments by recognizing exemplary efforts. In addition, it is envisioned that this recognition will draw the public's attention to the importance of survey monuments.

The certificate can be presented in many different venues such as County Board of Supervisor's or City Council meetings. Other possibilities include homeowner associations, utility companies, and water districts to name a few.  The honoree does not have to be a surveyor and can be anyone of the Chapter's choosing that they feel fulfills the requirement.

If your Chapter knows of someone that should receive recognition, please email CLSA Headquarters
