Alaska Fighting Championship

Alaska Fighting Championship (AFC) announces 2018-2019 fight schedule. Alaska's premier mixed martial arts event will continue their iconic fights at the Alaska Airlines Center.

Employee Spotlight
One of the newest members of the Seawolf Dining culinary team, Alan Son, is in fact, not new at all.

Back in 2013, while a student with the Anchorage School District, he was in a program called The ACT (Adult Community Transition) program. This program provides students (ages 18-22) with cognitive disabilities the skills to be successful in the community. Alan worked with a team in the Creekside Eatery, filling ice in the machine, sweeping and mopping and keeping Creekside looking sparking clean.
ACT and NMS formed a partnership in 2008 when Area Manager, Scott Evers, saw a need and filled it, providing a job for ACT students. This partnership has benefited both programs tremendously over the past 10 years - students getting job experience and NMS hiring many of the students once they graduated.

Truffle Dipping Station

Fancy chocolate were served for dinner at Creekside! Students were provided with toppings to make their favorites.
Sushi Night October 10
Students were treated to a sushi demo and samples for dinner service!
Cupcake Night October 24
Decorate your own cupcake! Chef Marnie had a great time showing students the tricks of the trade for perfect cupcakes.
Seared Scallops

Students were treated at lunch to a fantastic treat! Seared scallops with brown butter, lemon and capers!

Creekside Eatery menus appear daily with every meal with calorie counts.
Allergens
Creekside Dining has revised the menus to include allergens in each digital signage menu item in the Breakfast - Dinner menus to better serve the students.

Omelet Action Stations
Every morning our staff provides a made-to-order omelet station in Creekside Eatery. Diners are able to select from favorites such as, ham, cheese, bacon and vegetables.

Craving a burger or quesadilla? Hit the Grill at Creekside at lunch or dinner for grill favorites.

STGs at LATE NIGHT
New for this year, Late Night will include STG options like snacks, salads and sandwiches for a lighter option.
Campus Meal Plan PFD Sale
A PFD sale on Campus Meal Plans the entire month of October! Bonus meals were doubled with this great deal. It ran all month on digital signage, on Facebook multiple times, provided on Green & Gold and in a mass employee email.
