Focus on Food Insecurity

"Food is the essence of our wellbeing, and our tradition instructs us that the offering of food to those in need, be they angelic messengers or fellow New Yorkers, is akin to lifting up their hearts. Join us this year as we highlight the issue of food insecurity—the condition of lacking reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food."

A Note from Your Development Team

Rodeph Sholom is a community made sacred by our relationships to one another. As the calendar turns to 5779 and our congregation begins another year together, we are reminded that we are bonded together by rich tradition and by the notion of a shared peoplehood. These sacred bonds also engender a sacred responsibility to one another.

Each year, we rely on the generosity of all members to sustain our shared home. It is only through your support for the Yom Kippur Appeal (YKA) that we can both maintain the ongoing needs of our vibrant congregation and evolve to meet new challenges and opportunities.

To make your gift to the appeal, click here to make a gift online or call the Development Office (646-454-3052) for information about automatic recurring payments, gifts of appreciated stock, or adding a pledge to your synagogue account. Thank you for your generous support.
