A Message from the Executive Director

This month we are excited to welcome our new EPIC O'Neil Community Leader in Residence, Janice Forsyth.  Janice will help us as we develop the EPIC O'Neil Community Impact Project Pilot, and work with students and participating charities to develop capacity and social impact.    She brings a wealth of experience coaching, consulting and working with charities.
I am currently in Oxford with 10 Odette MBAs, who are exploring commercialization projects with UK scientists.  Oxford is the host to a large bioscience cluster, and we're fortunate to tour both modern and old aspects of Oxford.  It's an excellent opportunity for Odette business students to develop international perspectives and contacts.   It is truly a unique multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional and multi-national course collaboration.   We continue to seek financial support from the Windsor-Essex community for this and other innovative international course pilots to make them more accessible to UW students.
Many great events are in the works for the remaining of 2018. The 3rd Annual RBC EPIC Business Model Canvas Competition and the 2nd New Kids on The Blockchain Symposium are taking place in November. Finally, EPICentre will be hosting a holiday Open House and EPIC Drive for Hiatus House on December 6th. Come enjoy the refreshments and support a good cause.
